Between 1-2 May, Olympia London played host to the annual RetailEXPO where, for the first time, they combined three of the largest retail shows: Retail Business Technology Expo (RTBE), Retail Design Expo (RDE) and Retail Digital Signage Expo (RDSE). This year’s event saw a significant increase in visitors, with over 24,000 attendees and 76 countries represented at the event.
We set up our largest ever stand in the Tech Zone, formerly known as the RBTE. The display showcased our fresh, dynamic brand, catching visitors’ eyes from across the room. As well as our new brand, we also offered visitors the chance to experience some of our exciting new technology, such as our Smart button, and test out our Business Intelligence Portal that provides a deep understanding of performance across stores.
We also offered a special promotion: the first three retailers to sign up for a store trial at the RetailEXPO received a free 30-day proof of concept (POC) trial worth over £1,400.

Bringing the magic to RetailEXPO 2019
This year’s RetailEXPO was an extremely exciting and productive event for VoCoVo. We were able to meet with a large number of people from a range of Tier-1 retailers, who were all keen to understand how VoCoVo’s range of technology and products can help them drive business performance through improved customer service and colleague communications.
The feedback VoCoVo had from visitors to our stand was overwhelmingly positive, with our range of innovative technology solutions sparking hundreds of interesting conversations over the two days with decision-makers from some of the most famous and successful retailers in the UK, Europe, and further afield.

Visitors could clearly see the benefits of adopting VoCoVo within their stores to improve customer experience, boost staff safety and morale, and drive business performance. Of particular interest was our new Smart button device, especially to those retailers stocking high-value items in secure store displays.
Overall, it became clear that retailers are looking for innovations that can put them in a prime position to deliver improved in-store experiences and drive their bottom line through the adoption of market-leading technology solutions that bring the magic across their teams.
